Outlook

Connect Outlook to BotDojo so agents can search, read, move, and send mail from a Microsoft 365 mailbox.

Before You Start​

You will need:

  • A Microsoft 365 work or school account
  • Access to BotDojo's Integrations page
  • Permission to approve the Microsoft Graph OAuth scopes during connect

Connect Outlook in BotDojo​

  1. Open Integrations in BotDojo.
  2. Find Outlook in the Agent Tools section.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account and approve the requested permissions.
  5. Wait for BotDojo to finish the OAuth flow and save the integration.

Supported Actions​

Outlook supports these agent actions:

  • Search messages
  • List messages
  • Get a message by ID
  • Send a message
  • Move a message to another folder
  • Create a folder
  • Mark a message as read
  • Mark a message as unread
  • List folders

Troubleshooting​

  • Connect fails: confirm you're using a Microsoft 365 work/school account, not a personal Outlook.com account.
  • Mail access is missing: reconnect and approve the requested Microsoft Graph scopes again.
  • Move or folder actions fail: make sure the mailbox has permission to create folders and move items.
