Personal Connections
Connect personal apps and define the agent permissions that new workspaces use as their starting defaults.
#Add a personal connection
- 01
Open Connections
From Personalization, choose Connections to see connected and available apps.
- 02
Choose Add
Search for the service the agent needs and open its setup.
- 03
Complete sign-in
Follow the provider steps and return to BotDojo when the connection is ready.
- 04
Set permissions
Choose the default access the agent should inherit in new workspaces.
#Find Google Calendar on BotDojo Project Tool
Search narrows the available connections. Select Google Calendar, complete the visible setup, and verify it with a small read-only request before using it for recurring work.
#Choose the agent’s default permissions
| Permission | What happens |
|---|---|
| Allow | The agent can use the connection tool without stopping for approval. |
| Ask | The agent asks before it performs that tool call. |
| Deny | The agent cannot use that tool. |
#How permissions flow into a workspace
- 01
Set the personal default
Personal Connections defines the agent’s normal starting access.
- 02
Create a workspace
The new workspace inherits the personal connection and permission settings available at creation.
- 03
Apply a workspace override
Open Connection in that workspace when the work needs narrower or different access.
- 04
Start another chat in the workspace
New chats inherit the workspace’s current permissions, including its overrides.
