Personal Connections

Connect personal apps and define the agent permissions that new workspaces use as their starting defaults.

#Add a personal connection

Open Personalization → Connections, then choose Add beside My Connections.

    Open Connections

    From Personalization, choose Connections to see connected and available apps.

    Choose Add

    Search for the service the agent needs and open its setup.

  3. 03

    Complete sign-in

    Follow the provider steps and return to BotDojo when the connection is ready.

  4. 04

    Set permissions

    Choose the default access the agent should inherit in new workspaces.

Search narrows the available connections. Select Google Calendar, complete the visible setup, and verify it with a small read-only request before using it for recurring work.

#Choose the agent’s default permissions

Personal connection permissions become the starting defaults for newly created workspaces.

PermissionWhat happens
AllowThe agent can use the connection tool without stopping for approval.
AskThe agent asks before it performs that tool call.
DenyThe agent cannot use that tool.

#How permissions flow into a workspace

Access shows the permissions inherited by new chats and any workspace-level changes.

    Set the personal default

    Personal Connections defines the agent’s normal starting access.

  2. 02

    Create a workspace

    The new workspace inherits the personal connection and permission settings available at creation.

  3. 03

    Apply a workspace override

    Open Connection in that workspace when the work needs narrower or different access.

  4. 04

    Start another chat in the workspace

    New chats inherit the workspace’s current permissions, including its overrides.
