Managing Your Index

Index Management Overview When viewing an Index, you will see a summary of its configuration and the number of documents that are indexed, have errors, or are out of date.

Actions​

  • Update Index: This action will run an indexing job that updates the embedding for your Vector Index on any unindexed data (new or modified data since the last index).
  • Download Index: Download your embeddings.
  • Test Index: Test queries on your Index and validate the results.
  • Edit Index: Modify the name, tag, and auto-index settings.

Files​

You can browse the files in your Index; clicking on a file name will show you how the file was broken into chunks based on your Index's chunking strategy.
